IN THE STYLE OF THE "MAISON RAINGO FRÈRES A pair of ormolu candelabras, each with two arms. They stand on openwork quadripod bases decorated with Rocaille-style scrolls decorated with subjects representing young faun musicians sitting on a cushion after Clodion. Louis XV style. Period: 19th century. H. 26 cm. Note: Suppliers to Emperor Napoleon III, RAINGO Frères won awards at the Paris Universal Exhibitions of 1867, 1878 and 1889, including the gold medal in 1889. A pair of similar candelabras, but signed on the reverse, was sold by Marc Arthur Kohn at Drouot (25/02/2020).
