The throne is similar to the one depicted on the ninth frontispiece of the work by Charles Percier (1764-1838), Palais, maisons, et autres édifices modernes, dessinés à Rome, Paris, l'an 6 de la République française (circa 1798), pl. 50 (cfr. Fig. 1).
