After Etienne Alexandre STELLA. Allegory of the four seasons. Four sculptures in black lacquered bronze (some elements missing, including two cherubs for Autumn and Spring. Some deformations and restorations). Signed "Stella" on the circular bases. Early 20th century cast iron. Average height: 90 cm Mounted on sheathed bases. Etienne Alexandre STELLA (1850-1886), a French artist born in Paris, exhibited at the Salon between 1878 and 1885. Most of his works are in plaster and depict historical figures or genre scenes. The only bronze statue presented at the Salon was Spring in 1881. Provenance: Same provenance as the previous lot, Domaine du Bois d'Aucourt by Gustave Adolphe Clément-Bayard.
