Softcover with rich gilt decoration and mount. Stone (facs.) and pamphlet (comm.), together in a wooden case in a cardboard box. One of 399 copies. - In original cardboard box. - With certificate in an unopened envelope. - Facsimile of the manuscript ordered by the Prince-Bishop of Würzburg in 1507. Contains 30 colourful illuminations depicting the life of Christ. It is an excellent, very early example of German Renaissance book art, although the Gothic influence can still be felt. - A copy fresh from the press. 2 vols. (facs. and comm.)
