DAUGUET Marie, née Aubert (1860-1842). Clartés. Notes and Pochades. Italy, spring and summer 1905. Paris, Sansot, 1907; in-12, half hazelnut morocco, ribbed spine, gilt head, cover. First edition of this highly poetic account of a trip to Italy, interspersed with sonnets. The poetess had been praised by many critics and published from her beginnings at the Mercure de France.

It bears an autograph letter covering the false title: "To Count Robert de Montesquiou, as a token of fervent admiration for his subtly beautiful work, for the essence and quality of his thought".
