DAUNIAN TERRACOTTA JUG WITH BICHROME GEOMETRIC PATTERN.
Ca. 600 - 500 BC. A terracotta jug with a rounded, slightly flattened body, a tapering neck with a sharply flaring disc rim, and an elongated handle extending vertically from the shoulder to the rim’s outer edge. The surface is decorated in a bichrome geometric pattern of black and red bands encircling the body, interspersed with linear and rectangular motifs.
