Ritschl, Katalog der Erlaucht Gräflich Harrachschen Gemälde-galerie in Vienna, Vienna, 1926, no. 56 Note: Inscribed with an old inventory number W.F.142. lower right. Registered at the RKD - Netherlands Institute for Art History in The Hague under number 13939. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Drs. Margret Klinge, dated 5 September 1996, in which she states that the work dates from the artist's later period whilst being active in Brussels.
