Triangular shape in needle lace, well-balanced decoration in free symmetry built from the centre: bouquet of large roses in full bloom with rows of detached petals and pearled hearts, 56 roses in all, foliage and buds, supported by a river of scalloped cartouches and medallions decorated with varied fashions, garlands of leaflets, buds and leaves, the borders scalloped with soft cartouches, leaves and large roses with detached petals, the motifs linked by the network of Point de Gaze, dark ivory cotton.
