First edition of the score by Claude Debussy and first printing of the numerous lithographed colour compositions by André Hellé. The ballet - the story of a soldier, a doll and a bunting - was composed by Debussy for his daughter Chouchou and staged at the Théâtre Lyrique after the war, in December 1919, with sets and costumes designed by Hellé.
