DECORATIONS. RUSSIA. Order of St Anne, 2nd class civilian cross in red enamelled silver, boar's head hallmark on the attachment ball of the ring, French manufacture, with original bouffette ribbon, 45 X 40 mm, gross weight: 27.07 gr. SUP, a box of the order of the same origin but for another decoration with handwritten label "Souvenir du général DRAGOMIROFF, 24 mai 1899" is attached. BE Abraham Mikhailovich Dragomirov or Dragomiroff ( Абра́м Миха́йлович Драгоми́ров) was a cavalry general born in 1868, died in 1955 who fought in the First World War and then with the White Armies. He was chairman of the commission of the Order of St Nicholas the Thaumaturgist. Between 1920 and 1924, he joined Wrangel's White Army. Exiled to France, he supported the formation of the Vlassov army in France, where he died in 1955.
