Carved half coconut Sculpture in bas-relief, representing a rare animated historical scene of Saint Louis, seated, dispensing justice under a tree, surrounded by the people of his court, his knights, his monk scribe and the petitioner. Below the scene, a phylactery reads: "ST LOUIS RENDANT LA JUSTICE", beneath a frieze of vine leaves.
