DEMOSTHEN. Λόγοι, καὶ προοίμια δημηγορικά, καὶ ἐπιστολαί. Paris, Jean Bienné, 1570. in-folio, fawn calf, triple gilt fillet and fleurs-de-lys at the corners, coat of arms in the centre, spine decorated, gilt edges (17th-century binding). An important Greek edition of the works of Demosthenes, accompanied by Ulpian's scholia. It was begun in 1558 by Guillaume Morel, then completed after his death by Denys Lambin and printed with the "Grecs du roi" by Jean Bienné. Prize book bearing the arms of the Collège Mazarin, with ex-præmio awarded to Charles Gabriel du Fresne in 1694. Worn binding, missing headpieces, foxing.
