DÉROULÈDE Paul (1846-1914). Chants du soldat. Paris, Michel Lévy, 1872; in-16, bradel in long-grained red morocco, gilt fillet framing the boards and spine, cover (V. Champs). Rare first edition of this collection published after Déroulède's experience of the Franco-Prussian war. It was a publishing success and the collection was illustrated several times. One of the 20 first copies on Hollande, the only large paper, very well bound (n° 12).
