Rectangular field with two angels sleeping on a stone, kneeling and sitting respectively, with poppy capsules symbolising Thanatos and a lowered torch in their hands; on the stone a butterfly symbolising resurrection and eternal life as well as an inscription with a reference to the Book of Revelation by St John (Chapter XIV, 13). 82 cm x 113 cm.
