Two German bayonets. The first bayonet has metal fittings with the original colour completely missing. It is fitted with bakelite plates and a metal scabbard with no paint and no visible markings. The blade is heavily worn and cleaned, marked 885, with maker's code S/174. The second is a Mauser 98K bayonet. The metal fittings are oxidised, the plates are wooden and the scabbard is badly damaged, with no visible markings. The blade has been completely cleaned and no longer retains its original colour. It is made 44 CVL, number 2957. It comes with a leather gusset dated 1943 and a very damaged sword strap. Some wear and a nice patina of the parts. Condition II+. Two German bayonets. Its metal fittings are oxidized, the grips are wooden, and the scabbard is heavily damaged, with no visible markings. The blade has been completely cleaned and no longer has its original finish. It was manufactured in 1944 by CVL, number 2957. It comes with a leather frog dated 1943 and a badly worn sword knot. Note some wear and a nice patina on the parts. Condition II+.
