Two German bayonets. The first is a Mauser 98K bayonet, whose metal fittings are in good condition and retain about 70% of their original colour. It is fitted with black bakelite plates. The scabbard is heavily oxidised, with only 10% of the paint remaining. Number 3604, manufacture illegible. The blade, in its original 70% colour, is marked 42 COF, number 8469. It is accompanied by a black leather gusset, but the markings are illegible. The second Mauser 98K bayonet also has trim in good condition, retaining 70% of its original colour. It is fitted with wooden plates. The scabbard is in good condition, although cleaned and rubbed, with no visible markings. The blade, 70% original colour, is made by Richa Herder. Some wear and oxidation of the parts. Condition II+. Two German Mauser 98K bayonets. The first has metal fittings in good condition with about 70% of original colour preserved. The second Mauser 98K bayonet also has wellpreserved fittings, with 70% of original finish. It has wooden grips.
