Two large horn and brass snuffboxes with engraved decoration: - The first features an enhanced hunting scene on the lid, with a hunter shouldering a gun, his dog, a deer, a wild boar, a hare and two birds. Bears the date "1844". The reverse shows a compass rose with fan motifs in the corners. The edge bears the inscription: "F.A ASPACH LE BAS Dp Ht RHIN bis GRANDE ROUTE DE BELFORT A COLMAR". Two harpies on the opposite edge. Haut-Rhin, 19th century W. 16.3 cm - D. 10.3 cm Accidents - The second is decorated with a coat of arms bearing the number "4", enhanced and accompanied by two birds in flight and bearing the words "Martin Dießchi holß wahr hendler". The reverse is decorated with a compass rose and fan motifs in the corners. The edges are decorated with two-colour checkerboards.
