Lot no. 16
Dimensions: 31x18 cm A cryptocrystalline of the quartz family with a distinctive ogival shape found exclusively in the bed of the Narmada River (Madhya Pradesh9), one of India's seven sacred places. Due to water erosion and their continuous rolling in the river bed, the stones take on their unmistakable ogival shape. Increasingly rare, as in the case of the one proposed, are the large ones. It is placed on a small iron tripod.
