DIPLOMA relating to the Order of the Golden Ear, instituted in 1912 by Chiang Kai Chek, the calligraphic text of which reads: "The President of the Republic of China awards Mr Du Beiyi [Dupérier], medical officer attached to the French Consulate in Choongqing, the Order of the Golden Ear (Order of Agricultural Merit) of the fourth rank, as a token of friendship and benevolence. Promulgated on 21 June of the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935). Awarded on 10 August of the same year. Director of the Public Service Bureau: Ye Zeyun. In its blue silk-covered cylindrical case. China, Republic of China, 1935.
