Born in Brooklyn, New York, Caesar developed an interest in art at a young age, studying initially at the Art Students League of New York under prominent sculptors George Bridgman and Alexander Archipenko. Caesar’s work often explored emotional and psychological themes, capturing human vulnerabilities and strengths through simplified yet deeply expressive forms. Influenced by modernism and expressionism, she employed bold, tactile surfaces and an abstracted approach to anatomy that emphasized emotional intensity over realistic representation.
