An engraved calabash used as a milk or water container by this nomadic people of southern Ethiopia. The quality of the restorations is an indication of the importance of such a vessel for this people.

Provenance: Collection of Patrice CHRISTY, an acknowledged specialist in wildlife conservation, particularly in Africa.
