Three jugs with bird and flower decoration, 3-piece; pear-shaped, partly standing on three feet. Rocaille-shaped curved ear or J-shaped handle. Fitted domed lid with pine and fruit pommel. Native birds on branches as well as blossom branches and flower arrangements in polychrome painting. Gold and purple staffage. Bird jug with label for the exhibition, Höchster Porzellane from private ownership, Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt, 1984, remainder; unmarked and with manufactory mark. H. 21 cm - 24 cm. Provenance: Dissolution of an important German private collection - part II. A 3-piece porcelain set of jugs painted with birds and flowers. Restored. Unmarked and with manufacturer's mark. Höchst/Ludwigsburg. 2nd half 18th cent.
