DUCHAMP Marcel. SELF-PORTRAIT IN PROFILE, 1959. The model we are proposing here takes the form of a transparent silkscreen film screen-printed film, the top layer of which is a red, blackout layer, has been cut to expose the final typeface. Approximately 10 mm from the final cut-out, a preparatory mark is visible. A piece of white paper, signed "Marcel Déchiravit" in Marcel Duchamp's handwriting. "Marcel Déchiravit", was attached to the transparent gelatin layer with three pieces of with three pieces of scotch tape.
