First edition of this verse tragedy written in collaboration with Gérard de Nerval, who is not credited. The play was first performed at the Théâtre-Français on 26 December 1837. Autograph signed letter: Avec mille amitiés, A. Dumas. Two spines split, spotting at the end of the volume, endpapers renewed.
