Enamelling: "émailleries du Loiret" version. In 1888, John Boyd Dunlop invented the pneumatic tyre in Belfast, Northern Ireland, after watching his grandson ride his bicycle. This innovation made transport more comfortable and also meant that less energy was needed to move forward.
