The "Petit Durand" (as opposed to the Recueil et parallèle des édifices de tout genre, published in large folio format in 1801) presents the material from the architecture courses given by J.-N.-L. Durand (1760-1834) at the École polytechnique, where he taught for 39 years. The original edition dates from 1802-1805.
A good copy bound in contemporary style.
Spine slightly faded, upper headpieces and corners worn, wetness in the margins of a few leaves.
