EARLY GREEK BRONZE DOG FIGURINE Ca. 750 - 650 BC. A bronze dog figurine with a rounded snout, prominent nostrils, and upright ears that point outward. The mouth is modelled in a curved line, with shallowly incised eyes above. The neck flows into a broad chest and a slender, slightly arched back. All four legs are spread and evenly spaced, giving the impression of movement. The tail curves sharply upward and forms a loop. M.
