EARLY GREEK / WESTERN ASIATIC BRONZE SPEARHEAD Ca. 1200 - 800 BC. A long bronze spearhead from the Near East features two sharp edges that taper towards a pointed tip, surrounded by a raised midrib. The base of the spearhead is cylindrical and is adorned with moulded circles, connecting to a long, curved tang. For similar see: Muscarella O.
