EARLY GREEK / WESTERN ASIATIC BRONZE SPEARHEAD WITH TWISTED BODY Ca. 1200 - 800 BC. A lengthy, leaf-shaped bronze spear point with angular shoulders, cast as a single piece. A prominent midrib extends into a long shank, separated from a tubular tang by a small ring moulding. The tang ends in a bent button terminal and is covered in thick layers of green and brown patina.
