EARLY GREEK / WESTERN ASIATIC BRONZE SWORD Ca. 1000 - 800 BC. A cast bronze sword with a tapering, leaf-shaped blade with a prominent central midrib extending the entire length. The blade’s shoulders merge into a pronounced flange terminating in symmetrical C-scrolls. The grip transitions into a sharply flaring, trumpet-shaped pommel.
