EARLY GREEK / WESTERN ASIATIC BRONZE SWORD.
Ca. 1200 - 800 BC. A bronze sword with a tapering, double-edged blade featuring a raised central ridge running along its length. The blade is separately cast and attached to the hilt, which has a rounded shoulder with curved, flanged edges. The flat grip terminates in a prominent conical pommel.
