EASTERN GREEK SILVER LOBED PHIALE.
Ca. 500 - 300 BC
A silver phiale with a shallow bowl and wide, flaring rim. The interior is embossed with a raised central omphalos surrounded by eight rounded lobes, each separated by narrow ridged ribs that radiate from the omphalos and terminate in small rounded bosses at the outer edge.
