EDITS AND DECLARATIONS 1540 and 1680. Collection of 153 handwritten leaves on vellum, bound in 1 volume in folio, brown basane, ribbed spine (17th century binding). Collection of acts of François I, Henri II, Charles IX and others, from 1541 to 1680, arranged in chronological order, most of which concern the 16th century. All are printed on vellum; the first is the ordinance of François I made in Blois in 1540 on the "Faict des monnoyes avec la liste de toutes les espèces de monnoye que le Roy veult et entend avoir cours en son Royaume", followed by requests, attributions, powers given, confirmation of death, trials, exemptions, various suppressions, extract from the registers of the Conseil d'Etat, sauvegarde du Roy. The first pieces were written in the XVIth century, the others by different hands in the XVIIth century. Binding worn, interior in good condition.
