EGYPTIAN ALABASTER BOWL Old Kingdom, Ca. 2600 - 2240 BC. A bowl carved from alabaster with a deep, tapering profile and flat base. The walls rise in a gentle outward curve, terminating in a slightly thickened rim. For similar see: G.
