EGYPTIAN ALABASTER KOHL POT Old Kingdom, Ca. 2900 - 2200 BC. An alabaster kohl pot with a squat, globular body resting on a small flat base. The vessel has a broad shoulder and an outwardly flaring rim with a short neck beneath. The surface displays natural banding in shades of cream, brown, and ochre.
