EGYPTIAN ALABASTER VESSEL New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A slender alabaster vessel with a disc-shaped base, inverted piriform body, and a short neck with a flat rim. The stone surface displays light veining in a softly swirling pattern. Size: 120mm x 60mm; Weight: 500g Provenance: Private London collection; previously French art market 1970s/1980s. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
