EGYPTIAN ALABASTER VESSEL Old Kingdom, Ca. 2900 - 2200 BC. A tall alabaster vessel with a cylindrical body that tapers slightly towards the base and expands gently to a thick, rounded rim. The surface reveals gentle veining arranged in harmonious, curved lines.
