EGYPTIAN AMARNA PERIOD POLYCHROME JAR Amarna Period, Ca. 1353 - 1336 BC An Egyptian jar from the New Kingdom, most likely from the Amarna period. The jar is adorned with cobalt blue paint and has a globular body. The shoulders are decorated with a scene of the Nile river, with birds and papyrus plants in the main register.
