EGYPTIAN BLUE FAIENCE OFFERING VESSEL New Kingdom, Ca. 1500 - 1069 BC. An offering vessel made of blue faience, with a conical body that widens towards a thick, rounded rim and rests on a slightly raised base. The surface is covered in a deep cobalt blue glaze with speckled lighter inclusions. The interior is left unglazed.
