EGYPTIAN CARNELIAN BASTET / CAT AMULET. Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A carnelian cat amulet depicting a seated feline with an upright posture. The forepaws rest on a rectangular base and the hind legs are tucked beneath the haunches. A small gold loop is set at the back for suspension.
