EGYPTIAN CARNELIAN RING WITH ALMOND-SHAPED BEZEL
New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A carnelian ring with a thick almond-shaped bezel and angular shoulders. The bezel is raised and flat, extending over a robust hoop. Size: D:14.88mm / US: 3 3/4 / UK: H; Weight: 9.12g Provenance: Property of a London gallery; previously in a collection of a North London gentleman; formerly in a collection of Mrs B.
