EGYPTIAN COPTIC PAPYRUS WITH GREEK INSCRIPTION Ca. AD 100 - 400. A papyrus fragment inscribed in ink with several lines of Greek cursive script. Housed between two clear rectangular plexiglass panels secured by corner screws. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition. Size: 200mm x 180mm; Weight: 480g Provenance: From the collection of a London gentleman; formerly acquired in early 2000s; previously in 1970s UK collection.
