EGYPTIAN FAIENCE EYE OF HORUS AMULET Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A turquoise faience amulet modelled in the form of the Eye of Horus (Wedjat), with raised detailing in contrasting glaze defining the brow, pupil, cosmetic line, and extended cheek markings. The amulet is pierced horizontally for suspension near the top edge. For similar see: The Michael C. Carlos Museum, Object number 2008.001.006.
