EGYPTIAN FAIENCE FROG New Kingdom, Ca. 1500 - 1069 BC. A green faience frog resting on an integral base. The head is raised, with prominent, rounded eyes set high on either side. The front legs are tucked beneath the body, while the hind limbs extend along the body. The back is smoothly arched, tapering towards the rear.
