EGYPTIAN FAIENCE HORUS FALCON AMULET IN GILDED SILVER PENDANT SETTING Ca. 30 BC - AD 200. A turquoise blue faience amulet representing the falcon-headed god Horus, modelled standing with arms close to the sides and wearing a tripartite wig with a solar disc above. The facial features are simplified, with an emphasised beak and brow. The amulet is set in a modern 18k gilded silver pendant, with a matching chain included.
