EGYPTIAN FAIENCE ISIS AND HORUS AMULET Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A faience amulet of Isis seated on a throne, holding the infant Horus on her lap. The goddess wears a tripartite wig and a crown consisting of a sun disc flanked by cow’s horns. The rear of the amulet is modelled with a vertical back-pillar extending from the base to the top of the crown, and a horizontal perforation is placed behind her head.
