EGYPTIAN FAIENCE NECKLACE WITH FAIENCE BEADS. New Kingdom to Late Period, Ca. 1550 - 332 BC. A restrung necklace comprising a single strand of small, round faience beads that transitions into three strands approximately one-third of the way through its length. The beads display a variety of shades, including teal, turquoise, beige, and brownish-red. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
