EGYPTIAN FAIENCE PAPYRUS SCEPTRE AMULET. New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A turquoise glaze faience papyrus sceptre amulet with a cylindrical body that tapers towards a rounded end. The upper section features a flaring capital with a ridged collar beneath it. A circular suspension hole is pierced through the top, allowing for attachment.
