EGYPTIAN FAIENCE SHROUD WITH WINGED SCARAB AND FOUR SONS OF HORUS.
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC.
A faience shroud restrung from tubular and discoid beads. The lattice pattern frames three polychrome panels: at the top a mask with large eyes; below a winged scarab; and at the base the Four Sons of Horus: Imsety, Hapy, Duamutef and Qebehsenuef, shown as mummiform figures.
