EGYPTIAN FAIENCE SHU AMULET IN GILDED SILVER PENDANT SETTING Ca. 30 BC - AD 200. A pale blue faience amulet depicting the god Shu in a kneeling position with arms raised to support a solar disc above his head. The figure has a clearly defined head with a long tripartite wig and facial features modelled in low relief. The amulet is set in a modern 18k gilded silver pendant, with a matching chain included.
